Yaizu City in Shizuoka Prefecture, boasting one of Japan's highest fish landings, is blessed with abundant marine resources such as tuna, bonito, and mackerel. It has long flourished as a base for deep-sea fishing.
Located in “Port Town Yaizu,” which lives with the sea, is Imaruigawa Shoten, a company specializing in sliced fish and pickled fish.
We purchase and land fish carefully selected from oceans worldwide, transporting and storing them in our own ultra-low-temperature freezer (-40°C). To deliver safe and reliable products to our customers, we manage quality through HACCP manufacturing control processes from raw material intake to shipment, producing frozen fillets and pickled fish.
Our fillets are meticulously hand-cut by skilled artisans, and we can accommodate various delivery formats for commercial use and diverse customer requests.
At our direct-operated store near Yaizu Fish Market and our pickled fish specialty shop (Uo Uo), we sell carefully selected, fresh, and delicious seasonal fish delivered directly from the factory. They are highly appreciated as gifts and for home cooking.
