Hikoshiro Okubo, the 11th generation of the Okubo family who started sake brewing in the Edo period, switched to the soy sauce manufacturing industry in 1869. Our company is a soy sauce maker in Kumamoto, which has been in business for 150 years. We continue to make miso and soy sauce seasonings, which are the basis of the local cuisine of Kyushu, Kumamoto.
